What are the odds?

Post by Jeanluc »

At the beginning of the season, I placed a £25 bet at 4/1 odds with William Hill that Orient would get promoted. Potential winnings £100 (plus return of stake).

Just had a quick look today and while we’ve only played 19 games, they’re offering to cash out my bet now for £91.10.

Do they know something?

Hang in there. My bet is staying where it is… about 3x return.

They’re offering you a cash out at 1/4, which coincides with their actual 1/4 offering. Pretty fair of them.
Do they know something? Clearly no more than us and certainly a lot less than we did in July🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Sorry that’s wrong! There’re offering you odds of approx 4/11 for your cash out.

Total return of 4-1@ £ 25 stake is £125 , how is a £90+ cash out 4/11 ?

I put £40 on Orient being in the Top 7 at odds of 7/4. Feelin' good about it.

My, we're a mercenary lot....

All we are doing is recouping previous year(s) losses.
