This is actually a tough one to predict . We’re going to lose sooner or later but I’ll keep the faith . 2-1 to Orient.

Effing auto-fill and I never noticed it. Pls note the name above should read Smyth. It's now corrected in original post.

Re: Orient v Tranmere Prediction Thread OFFICIAL
I am starting to get a little nervy about our centre of defence. Need something to worry about! Ogie appears to be regressing and was very poor midweek. Happe is not consistent enough. Thompson looks better at fullback although admittedly his games at centre half have been limited. Just hope beccles stays fit. On that basis, and with all our attacking weapons, I am expecting some high scoring games this season. Let’s go 3-2 to orient in this one.

And I’ll be surprised if we lose a game this season.

Yes, our defence is beginning to look a little shaky at times . Last two or three home games our defence looked liked we had a mistake in us just waiting to happen . We've got to keep our concentration for the full 90 minutes .Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:16 pm I am starting to get a little nervy about our centre of defence. Need something to worry about! Ogie made 1 bad back pass against a a L1 side, after Sweeney - a left back partnering him at CB - put him in the sh*t.Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:16 pm I am starting to get a little nervy about our centre of defence. Happe has had a decent start to the season and is rightly holding his starting spot.
Thompson has never let us down in any position.
I can’t remember us ever having such good cover at the back.

Happe still worries me a bit though. He consistently overpowers his passes which I would have thought would be an easy thing to fix on the training ground. It means we either lose the ball or it puts the receiving player in a difficult position trying to control a ball that has been fired at him.Gary the Plumber wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 7:04 amOgie made 1 bad back pass against a a L1 side, after Sweeney - a left back partnering him at CB - put him in the sh*t.Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:16 pm I am starting to get a little nervy about our centre of defence. That said, Ogie did his chances no favours on Tuesday, so I expect him to hold his spot. We do seem to always give the opposition a gilt-edged chance in the first 5 minutes though! 2-1 the O's

Re: Orient v Tranmere Prediction Thread OFFICIAL
Happe's lack of mobility and pace is a bigger worry. And sad to say but this will always be the case.
