Not writing him off, but it's ridiculously on brand for the club.

Really like this loan signing, young hungry kid on loan wanting to impress, and we have given him the platform in L2 to do it for The O’s in a position we need to strengthen.
Well done everyone

Re: Jack Turner
Where does that leave Coleman and Brown bringing in another young midfielder on loan . I’d send either Coleman or Brown out on loan and bring in another senior midfielder.

One of them out on loan probably. Of the two Brown has shown a bit more so he might stay?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 4:26 pm Where does that leave Coleman and Brown bringing in another young midfielder on loan . Midfield is short but Coleman hasn't made it any better (arguably had the opposite effect) so if he goes out and better options come in then it's a net gain.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 6:18 pmIm not sure loaning out 1st team squad is helpful , werent bedwetters saying we had a threadbare squad already ?gshaw wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 6:00 pmOne of them out on loan probably. Be interesting whether this Southampton loan is a first choice or one of the 3 filler signings RW alluded to the other week.

Obviously Wellens does agree, hence this signing.
I’m with others, Brown looked the better bet last season, Coleman should go and get some game time, try to become the player Lingy thinks he is.

Re: Jack Turner
He has to be the deep lying midfielder out of the 3, the role Hector was playing under Wellens. His job in offence is to collect the ball from the back 4 and link play.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 9:37 am I'm trying to paint a picture as to the exact role Turner is going to play.
It’s a crucial role when you want to play out from the back as Richie does.
