Southampton midfielder is joining on loan. He was at the Open day yesterday & was kitted out when the team had photos taken

No, I've never heard of him either but it doesn't mean to say he isn't good enough . As with all new signings we have to wait and see how he play's first before we write him off .

Sounds like he’s a well thought of prospect and plays as a ‘number 6’. Sounds like a good signing on paper. I just worry that an ‘enforcer’ in midfield will find mens hard difficult but hopefully he’ll get up to speed quickly.

Some will give him at least 20 mins before writing him off

Making arguably our most important signing of the summer a 19 year old kid on loan who's never played senior football would be peak Ling.

Not writing him off, but it's ridiculously on brand for the club.

Still time to bring in a couple more players . I don't know but maybe he's one of the cheap loan's Riche was talking about .

Three inexperienced kids all battling it out for the most important position in the team. Fantastic.

Indications here that Southampton think he will one day play at the highest level.

You sure you have the right name. No one listed as a Southampton player with that name

True. the other two lads from Spurs did better for us, but Kane has had the better career

In the past Southampton never loaned youngsters. I wonder when that changed?

Southampton academy has produced hundreds of top players. I’ll take this signing as a positive.

Might as well be given our track record with signings Premier League teams’ players on loan. He’ll get about 20 mins game time all season
