He's got no interest but we don't care.
As much as he is a legend here, it would be a bad move he's not managed in a few years now.
Agree, my reply was a modification of the song rather than endorsement of him.
Yep got that - He's got no hair and we don't care - Russell, Russell Slade !

I'm happy with that. At least he's not Adams.

I'm the one vote for Jack Ross:

Managerial record:
140 Wins
68 Draws
77 Losses
Win Percentage 49.12

Might bring in some Scottish talent if there is any

Fergie in from 4/1 to 2/1 on BettingOdds dot com this morning.

Would be very happy with him, great record at L1/ L2 level, tries to play football too - my son a Posh fan so am very familiar with them in recent years. Whether we'd get him or not is another thing.

Might as well let him have a go. He can't possibly be any worse than the other 5 who got the tin tack. If he turns out to be rubbish we can bin him too.

In the words of Ian Hunter; all of the good ones are taken.

I am not happy about it, but I am pretty sure we will end up with Fatty Evans as our new manager.

Well I've just seen on one of the news feeds that Darren Ferguson is odds on with some bookmakers! Can't see it happening but would be pleased if it did.

It’s FERGIE time for the O’s, get him in the building now!
Not many managers available with his experience/knowledge of L1 & L2

Bullshitti said he was too expensive the last time the club interviewed him so it wouldn’t be a cheap appointment

Fatty Evans and Martin Ling have been close friends since 2006.

If that occurs he may bring in Revell as a coach
We can then play back the final we lost for motivation or a perverse joke
If Revell ends up being our coach he could train our strikers how to shoot from long range.

I'd be happy with Ferguson but can still see it ending up as Harrold / Saah (Haahrold?) if they pull a couple of wins out the hat in the next few games

What I want is to stay up this year.
In the longer term I want a manager that stays here for a long tenure compared to the current attitude of tic tac people after people.
I want the club ML to refrain from any further interviews stating about managers not being retained - as he recently did.
I am not the only boarder that was dismayed at that comment - it totally destroys the positive recruitment of a person.
All managers know it’s a results business ML just used liberal poor English in a (negative way) to tell the public - that is ML style unfortunately.

There is a lot of irony in this thread

While Ferguson remans odds on with Bet Victor, Neil Lennon is now second favourite at 6/1 - I can only presume the bookies have no more idea than the rest of us!

The bookies have no idea, but if they can keep throwing up names, people will back them. They can’t lose, as no matter how much is put on the winner, more than enough will be on all the others accumulated to cover loses.
