Re: Manager Merry Go Round
He's still there. It's James Rowe that has gone.
Wonder if we will hear more now.

I was thinking Danny webb/Rowe don't write Danny it's James
Then I do it anyway .
It's almost a head in hands moment but it's far more deserving
Of a head

"When a football club is down on its luck for so many years, it's a difficult thing to turn very quickly.
"We put pressure on ourselves by saying we want promotion out of this league this season, but we still want to do that."
Wise words from the recently sacked Deek Adams.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
I get what you're saying, but if a club like Bradford (or Orient) took that line their fans would slate the owners for being unambitious rather than realistic, expect them to chuck more money at the squad and get aggy when that doesn't happen.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 11:36 am"When a football club is down on its luck for so many years, it's a difficult thing to turn very quickly.

He's right. Unrealistic ambitions were our downfall last season too. Probably couldve been in the auto spots with Boss Embleton right now.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 11:36 am"When a football club is down on its luck for so many years, it's a difficult thing to turn very quickly.

One thing is for sure, Ross was doing much better this time last season than Kenny .tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 12:55 pmBlame the Pant wetter brigade for usnever knowingLong slender neck wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 12:02 pmHe's right. Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Darren Ferguson resigns as manager of Peterborough, having recently been backed by the owners that he'd be in charge next season regardless of whether the club was relegated or not.
My son is a Posh fan, I've been obliged to make them my second club, our feeling is he/ they are too good for L1 but not god enough for he Championship. Rotherham/ Warne keep bouncing between the two and gulf has widened between the tiers.
