Re: Tory Watch
Wonder how long these ministers can go on for doing media rounds explicitly denying stuff that they know is going to be confirmed in a week anyway. Not just humiliating, but knowing he's a lame duck, also futile.

Re: Tory Watch
I'm still holding out hope that photos (or video footage even) will appear that show Johnson pi55ed as a fart, doing the conga in his underwear.

Re: Tory Watch
Agreed, although frankly a particularly dim potato would probably do a better job than Truss (and would cost considerably less too)

Pro Kremlin newspaper puts out unverified story in midst of Russian imperial aggression
Useful idiots in countries opposing Kremlin aplify it because it confirms their worldview
So basic yet effective. Love to see a Venn diagram of people cheering this story who called out Russian misinformation in relation to Brexit/Trump.

Today was just for show. Tomorrow is when the real punches get thrown, as Wallace is heading over there.

Not to mention proroguing parliament himself to avoid publishing a cash for questions report. Hardly a paragon of virtue himself.

Re: Tory Watch
I really wouldn't worry too much about what Lavrov says about his meeting with Truss. The Kremlin were always going to make things uncomfortable for her and try to unsettle her.
Her job was to hold the line and frustrate them, which she did. Now Wallace and military chiefs are meeting with their Russian counterparts today which is when the serious discussions will take place.
However, I still have no confidence in Truss who seems to be treating the whole thing as a bloody photo opportunity. This is serious stuff and not the time for thrusters.
