Glad it’s cleared up and the player gets done if it’s proven he’s made that up, which is an awful thing to do. Also think the clubs statement was a bit knee jerk but get why they had to put something out.

Unfortunately, the amount of abuse players are expected to put up with is crazy and the club should look to put some measures in place to ensure that it’s not just accepted.
