Ross without Ling giving him a biased preferred employment opportunities would never of even been selected.
Ross had never even been a professional footballer but carved out a coaching career through his connection to Ling.
He demonstrated poor personal attributes be it waffle in interviews, sloppy personal appearance or questionable behaviour with other managers and match officials.
The style of football was also a reason for his departure.

Re: Jackett OUT
This is the problem when you play a system that heavily rely on wing backs from an attacking sense. When they become unavailable for whatever reason, you're unable to score goals and end up in the sh*t.
Same thing is happening at Chelsea, absolutely clueless going forward without James and Chilwell.

Because Kenny has the experience and track record he has earned to have a little bit more time. Ross had none of that. I don’t know if it will or should save Kenny but it’s the answer to your question.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 8:01 pm why haven't they sacked Jackett who is doing worse than Embleton?

Re: Jackett OUT
Poor recruitment, the transfer committee should take full responsibility, NT said in his interview, KJ got every player he wanted, managers are judged on their decisions and results, need I say anymore!
Everyone apart from the transfer committee & KJ can see we needed a creative CM…
We all know what players we got, so I won’t bother wasting everyone’s time listing the players again.
What I will do is list the player we didn’t get.
A Creative CM!!!
Well done everyone on the transfer committee, you did the club proud getting KJ all the players he wanted & you even gave us a little bonus throwing in Frank Nouble the goal machine as a direct replacement for Smyth

Re: Jackett OUT
I agree that this windows transfer money has been wasted . Khan looks good but the jury is still very much out on our other signings . It’s almost funny is that to alleviate our goal scoring drought we bring in a squad player from a League Two rival with only 4 goals in 60 games .I mean WTF . I hope Frank Nouble can bring something different to the team because I doubt it will be goals. My only hope is he can create space for others to score . We need to start scoring goals again from somewhere.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 4:59 pm Currently 5 points less than Embleton achieved at the same point and that was painful
Completely woeful going forward, haven't seen a goal for three months and I'm a season ticket holder
11 points off the playoffs which Kent said was the benchmark.
Given the amount the owners have put in it's embarrassing how lacklustre this team is

Re: Jackett OUT
A quick search and I’ve just read that Colchester have brought in TEN new players during this transfer window . Wow , no wonder we were second best all over the pitch yesterday . What’s so disheartening is it didn’t have to be this way . After all that investment all we’re now left with is to make sure we don’t drop anywhere near the bottom two . On current form we’re every inch as bad as them . I’m not looking forward to Tuesday night

Agee. Worth adding that Embleton had a lot of time over more than one stint, he had plenty of opportunity and simply didn't come up to the mark.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 12:26 amBecause Kenny has the experience and track record he has earned to have a little bit more time. It is a bit embarrassing when people mention Ross.
What’s he up to these days, out of interest?

Just because Kenny is potentially worse, doesn’t mean sacking Ross was the wrong decision.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 10:39 amYou were wrong, not surprised you don't like to be reminded of that.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 9:06 am It is a bit embarrassing when people mention Ross.

Ross was sh*t. He shouldn’t have been a manager at this level.
