Got to be a joke. His agent trying to drum up interest. Move on, nothing to see here.

Re: Orient bid for Lee Angol
Because after he fractured his ankle in 2016 his scoring stats are pretty average and clubs seem happy to move him on.

His last 2 moves have involved fees. Last to a league 1 club. Maybe he needs to be close to home and some tlc to be happy. He is still only 24, why be underwelmed.

4 in 27 following that, clearly never much rated at Shrewsbury.
Maybe Conference/League two is his level. He gets very mixed fans reviews. Some seeing him as a great signing, others a decent 4th striker. Seems a bit Bonne like in as much as he chases around a lot so perhaps that’s the attraction. Hard working like Bonne but without the goals.
Perhaps he is seen as a good backup striker, depending on who else come in, we are expecting two.
But with two strikers coming in I assumed one would be a decent striker with another playing second fiddle. I hope if he comes he is the latter. With money in the bank I hoped we could attract someone better.

He's had a bad last season, but before that it's not bad at all.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 8:28 am10 in 34

You say he hasn't got goals like Bonne- remind me of Bonne's record before he arrived?

I would not be underwhelmed if it was Shaq Coulhirst, now he is a good goal scorer.

Re: Orient bid for Lee Angol
Bonnes league scoring record was largely non existent. For a then 18 year old playing at League one and two level after a prolific youth scoring record, Great signing, inspired, just moved up too soon. . Angol is 24 so more info about his ability at a generally lower levelRed_Army wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 8:31 amHe's had a bad last season, but before that it's not bad at all.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 8:28 am10 in 34

Re: Orient bid for Lee Angol
Proper underwhelming. Not even managed 10 league goals in a season.
Hopefully just here as back up to Harold and Wilkinson.

Now Joe Widdowson has cut his hair we need another Afro hairstyle even if it’s a short one.
