Re: Manager Merry Go Round
I rate Dean highly I think he did a great job at Villa and they were short sighted getting rid of him. I see him as a future england manager. BUT, there is not a way in the world he will keep Norwich up.

I agree. He should be appointed England manager as soon as Norwich are mathematically relegated.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
My Villa supporting mate – who is also great mates with Dean’s Uncle Reg – was equally as sorry to see him depart Villa as he was Gerrard arriving, and he says there’s a lot of Villa fans felt he deserved longer.
Chatting to a couple of work colleague City fans up here in Norfolk this morning, straw poll I know, their feeling is that he will be a better fit than Lampard. But would be a major achievement to keep them up!

He's exactly the kind of guy England appoint, see pretty much all previous managers.

A little bit of Fergusson speak in there, wanting Dean to be England manager, hoping he will be no good at itMax B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 10:08 amI agree. He should be appointed England manager as soon as Norwich are mathematically relegated.

I still feel that Ronaldo will soon present a problem for Man U; sooner rather than later.

Ian Hendon to take charge at my second team Waterford Utd, who sacked their manager Marc Bircham three days before the promotion /relagation play off this Friday. One match contract

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Two more casualties so far today. Neither a big surprise.
1. Simon Grayson “ dismissed with immediate effect” @ Fleetwood
2. Keith Curle sacked @ Oldham . His assistant, Ex O Colin West goes as well.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Does that include running back and helping out his teammates? He certainly has not been the "final piece of the jigsaw" that was claimed when he was signed. He is like Mr Sugden the PE teacher in "Kes."

Rooney: like him or not, he's doing good work at Derby.
Derby have lost the same number of games as QPR who are 3rd or 4th in the Championship...

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Just to add to this Bircham said today we was sacked as the owner asked him to play his son. Not even Bechetti went this far... Hendon should feel right at home.Constanza wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:42 pm Ian Hendon to take charge at my second team Waterford Utd, who sacked their manager Marc Bircham three days before the promotion /relagation play off this Friday. But Martin Ling went that far if you listen to some of our more paranoid fans.Constanza wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:37 pmJust to add to this Bircham said today we was sacked as the owner asked him to play his son. Re: Manager Merry Go Round
One for Hendons CV- led Waterford to relegation within 72 hours. Not totally to blame although he did put the owners son on the bench.Constanza wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:37 pmJust to add to this Bircham said today we was sacked as the owner asked him to play his son.
