Too many tickets sold?

Post by Admin »

Seems to be the case in the West Stand today. TJS open now for overspill but some unhappy looking punters trying to get back in to the west at H/T.

All looks a bit disorganised

I thought it was not right to have only one stand open for an FA cup game. It put me off.

Danny mack tweeted about how they are putting cost saving measures by not opening stands under the banner of sustainability and carbon neutral.
3500 is a decent crowd we would regularly get at a league game a few years ago.

Don’t get it - try our hardest to put bums on seats the previous week and then go out the way to put the casual fan and undecided season ticket holder off the following week. Was thinking of travelling down at the last minute but the thought of the West Stand being full and a 2/3 empty ground being sold out was too exhausting to consider.

I get it for the paint trophy but for today doesn't really make sense unless the they were expecting a very small attendance

There was probably enough seats but people sitting in other seats they weren't assigned to....

I was watching that unfolding, thinking how daft of the Stewarding company restricting attendance, Then to cap it all wouldn't let them come back into Westside as no provision was made for refreshment in Southstand, looks almost a case of the tail wagging the dog

I thought maybe the TJS was opened due to people buying on the door on the day, they didn't seem to get in the stand until 15/20 minutes gone in the game. I got into the West 10 minutes before kick off and there was a sizeable queue at the ticket office on the way in.
