He's a snake with weasel like tendencies. That is an attack on his personal qualities not a rejection of his election by the membership. At least try to keep up.
Re: Labour Watch
I only have to go back one page to see yourself calling for the removal of the leader of a party, that you're not a member of, but who was democratically elected by an overwhelming majority of actual members.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:41 amWhere have I refused to accept his democratic election?Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:14 am A lot of bitter people refusing to accept the overwhelming will of the party membership and democracy

Wanting him AHT!! is NOT a refusal to accept the democratic vote of the members. It is recognition that he is useless and needs to go. You're not doing at all well this morning.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:48 amI only have to go back one page to see yourself calling for the removal of the leader of a party, that you're not a member of, but who was democratically elected by an overwhelming majority of actual members.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:41 amWhere have I refused to accept his democratic election?Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:14 am A lot of bitter people refusing to accept the overwhelming will of the party membership and democracy

On the contrary I've highlighted how it easy it is to make you perform mental gymnastics and justify something that clearly isn't true
You also called the reforms undemocratic despite them being approved by a vote at conference.

Re: Labour Watch
It's not mental gymnastics. I have not refused to accept Starmers election 18 months ago by the membership. Where is the post that says that? There isn't one.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:11 am On the contrary I've highlighted how it easy it is to make you perform mental gymnastics and justify something that clearly isn't true

I don't agree with the choice the members made but I accepted the outcome of the democratic process. A process that following a recent conference vote makes future leadership elections less democratic.
Were it not for organised opposition to the original proposals the outcome would have been even more anti democratic because it attempted to remove the important principle of OMOV. What conference approved was not what was originally proposed. Please do not conflate separate issues/proposals in order to try and win the argument.

Calling constantly (as a non-member) for the removal of the leader elected overwhelmingly by members is accepting the result

I see so criticising an incompetent buffoon who in a major crisis is STILL polling behind the most corrupt Tory government in living memory is the same as not accepting a democratic vote held 18 months ago. Re: Labour Watch
Listening to Starmer & Reeves and the others, its hard to understand this is the Labour party. Talk about helping business, and vowing not to put up income tax etc, sounds like the Tory Party .

Maybe that 14,000 word dirge of nothingness last week didn’t give Sir Keir the relaunch #17 bounce he was quite hoping for.

If Starmer really believes that this is an endorsement of him as next PM, he is embarrassingly naïve.
