It's probably in the bin with your season ticket. ;)

Probably hadn’t been paid and could not afford petrol for his motor.

I saw Sean Thornton walking down my road with two other Irish fellas drinking cans of Kronenbourg. It was about 11.50 on a Saturday morning. We were at home.

He used to live on Pyrles Green, off Pyrles Lane just 100yds away from my parents when I was a kid, nice guy.

Saw Kevin Lisbie walking down the road in Walthamstow with some school kids in tracksuits. Obviously doing some school sport. I was so surprised I looked at him and said, “Kevin?!” and he said, “ Hi, how’s it going?”

When Stan Bowles played for us I saw him coming out of the Coach and Horses with Steve Parsons sometime after 2 on a match day.

Chatted to Chris Bart-Williams on the victoria line once. It was about the time of big interest from other clubs wanting to sign him, and I was trying to persuade him not to leave the O's!

a story I have told on here before I think....

many summers ago, during a major football championship, Reverend Comfort's church ran a programme of Saturday morning football sessions for kids ('The Saints' teams came out of it, and are still running today)

on the final Saturday, they arranged for a parents game to round things off. I was on one side in midfield, and Reverend Comfort was on the other and in a similar position. Needless to say, he did pretty much boss the game

anyway, about mid-way through the first half, I had a one-on-one with him, and skinned him! Not only that, but I went on a bit of a mazy dribble past a few others, before finishing the run with a shot that almost hit the corner flag. So all standard parks football stuff really

but it wasn't too long after that I had another one-on-one with the Reverend, and this time he had the ball. He made a point of nut-megging me to put me back in my rightful place. I'm guessing he was around 40 at the time, and still had both his competitive spirit and his Holy Spirit

Many years ago outside Blackpool's ground, I was absolutely lost didn't know how to find the train station, guy asked me what's up, I told him he explained where it was, off I trotted, Bumped into Dave Dodds he said it was the great Tommy Johnson
Once chatted with Glenn Roeder in Coach & Horses pub in Upminster. Marc Lazarus turned up to move my dad.
Knocked on a neighbours house, Ian Juryef opened the door. By coincidence getting home from an away game up north, caught the same trains home as Peter (Les) Bennet

Out at a quiz night somewhere bumped into Glen Cockerill
Got into a Taxi in London, Driver was Paddy Grealish's father in law.
Once asked Steve Castle if I could have a slice of his Pizza, he ran off.
Phill Hoadley told me in the Leyton Coach & Horses he had the train fare home, then said keep quite as his son was with him, very nice guy.
My youngest son lifted Kent Teague up in the air in celebration of promotion, nice guy, kerb appeal by the bucket, great Guy

Ian Bogie was eating breakfast in the same hotel as me on International Drive in Florida in 2001. I was too nervous to go over and talk to him as he was one of my Orient heroes. I was 27 at the time.

Bizarrely, I then bumped into David Mooney the next time I visited Florida in 2013, when my lad spotted him in the supermarket within hours of us arriving. What a thoroughly nice chap, he confirmed he was staying at the Orient despite his contract having expired and then went on to have a fantastic season alongside Kevin Lisbie.

Chris Tate would always be drinking in the Plume of Feathers Loughton usually on his own, just him and his Hair.
