When I asked what was up he told me that his freezer had packed up ‘last night’. When I looked puzzled he explained that he has stayed up till 4am eating 4 whole pizzas and two tubs of Ben and Jerries before they went bad.
I dunno why he scared this info with me - made him look like a complete tw*t

Why is that creepy? Just sounds like you have an idiot coworker who values money over health.

It takes about 24 hours for a freezer to defrost . He could have eaten the pizzas cold and you can refreeze icecream anyway.
