Just imagine if this was happening under a Labour government!

Re: Tory Watch
Good to see the classic hand-on-arse manoeuvre from school discos days making a comeback.

Re: Tory Watch
At least she looks semi complicit in this pic.
How on Earth have these been leaked? Hancock doesn’t have any enemies with links to dodgy spy firms, does he?

Re: Tory Watch
Very few people will have access to the department's CCTV. But I reckon the inquisition should start with this board's very own security camera expert.

He's got to resign now, surely? And yet, with this government I dont feel certain he will.

Re: Tory Watch
Of course he won’t.
Probably issue an apology for breaching the No Hugging rule and move on.

In normal circumstances in a normal government he'd have been toast ages ago.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 9:31 am He's got to resign now, surely? And yet, with this government I dont feel certain he will.
However, this is not a normal government. This one make's the 90's Tory sleazebags look like utter amateurs. He'll stay in post as Johnson can hardly sack him on the basis of some form of moral compass given his track record in this department.

Re: Tory Watch
Aside from being caught knocking one out over a portrait of the Queen, there's not much a Minister needs to do anymore to feel compelled to resign. And even then they'd probably try and claim they'd simply been overcome by a waive of intense patriotism.

Re: Tory Watch
This is probably the most impressive thing he’s done in office
If anything it will increase his credibility among Tories, as even their staunchest supporters know he’s useless at his job

Re: Tory Watch
If this was any other government this would be a resignation matter
Well, no actually. Politicians off all parties have been having affairs for years and while personally embarrassing, it hasn't been a resignation matter for a long time, despite what you stuffy boomers think.

Re: Tory Watch
At the time this happened, social distancing was the thing, as it still is, and Hancock isnt practising what he preaches.
In past times, this was a resigning matter, but now, it wont be now, as standards amongst those who rule over us have fallen .

Re: Tory Watch
The resigning matter is that he gave a job to the woman he is secretly banging. Boris did similar with Ms Arcuri.

Re: Tory Watch
Yeah, nobody cares about him banging some broad. What should be a resignation matter is him giving a job to her in the first place. But Boris can't sack him for that because... well, reasons.
