Managers interviews are interesting.
Things go against you when you are having a bad run. Well our recent run hasn’t been great either.
Talks about their missed chances, but can’t remember LV having to do much. Good defending making life difficult for them to have clear chances. We too had some decent chances, Wilko long range the keeper fluffed then got lucky with the rebound. His turn and shot just over the bar. DJ shot on the turn, tip over from the corner.
Managers seem to judge performances on the amount of possession they have rather than what they do in possession.
For me it was a classic away performance. Soak up the pressure when they have the ball, limit clear cut opportunities, hit on the break. Job done. I thought we did a job on Newport. I think we did a job on Carlisle.
