As amazing as all that sounds, if you’re having a starter,Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 5:40 pmCornish baked cheddar with sourdough, mozzarella sticks, 3 types of smoked salmon and mozzarella and artichoke antipasti actuallyThor wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 5:36 pmYou not having chicken caeser for starters then?Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 2:20 pm Cant stand Turkey and my girlfriend is pescatarian so we'll be having a Cote de Boeuf and some Linda McCartney bollox at Caesar Towers
Starters could be an entire thread by itself to be honest
You’re doing the mains wrong imo.

By starters I mean grub I'll be eating throughout the day either side of lunchApple Wumble wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:59 pmAs amazing as all that sounds, if you’re having a starter,Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 5:40 pmCornish baked cheddar with sourdough, mozzarella sticks, 3 types of smoked salmon and mozzarella and artichoke antipasti actually

I'll be eating whatever Tesco has left after the latest panic buying frenzy. So probably horse meat lasagne and potato waffles.

The way things are going with the haulage chaos now gripping us, I suspect it could be beans on toast to celebrate the birth of the baby cheeses.
Otherwise, it’ll be turkey and trimmings per usual.

Good luck with that - it's not very nice, I've always found it tastes a bit like fishy Osprey.

Saves on the washing up I suppose.
I like watching repeats of the series Lovejoy having missed it when it was first screened. Enjoyable indeed.

I have got the DVDs in a box set, I have watched them all at least fives times. Great fun, they were talking about another series with another actor as Lovejoy but I don't think it ever got off the ground.

Re: What meat you having for Christmas?
Great news. I will get the boxed set one day. On my ‘to do ‘ list, fascinating characters in it.
Dudley Sutton such a well established actor , veteran of numerous films and TV classics, now sadly departed. The ‘female interests’ also superb actors. I liked it as it was ‘believable’ as I had loose ties with that trade for years and saw the shenanigans that went on! Put it this way, I placed that show as one in the category that it did not matter if you missed the start, middle or end, even if you saw 5 minutes of it, was entertaining!

Turkey, nothing better to make you feel like it’s Christmas. Alway drink Sherry too in the morning whilst it’s cooking. odd, never do at other times. Asti with the dinner.
And Sprouts, love them.
Bubble and squeak later, luvly Jubbly
Going to be odd this year. Live next door to our daughter and family. Mrs dOh doing the dinner, taking dinner next door, taking all precautions. Not mixing. Plan to do gifts in the garden, no rain. Feck the virus, we intend to enjoy Christmas Day, safely. Making fun of it whilst keeping safe.

Over the worst, than goodness. Have learned so much about what this virus does, even to the fit. My daughter is an ex Personal trainer, is amazingly fit, and has been knocked hard. And under 50. No longer underestimate this virus in the youngish.Thor wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 9:30 pmThought your daughter had the covid? We had planned a family dinner, now we have agreed to stay apart. But with the food already bought Mrs dOh is doing the cooking and we will pass to our daughter and family via an outside table. Keeping our distance. We will be opening pressies outside, weather permitting, and at a safe distance. Not going to let this virus spoil our day. We are lucky we can have a family day whilst staying safe at a distance.
I feel for those not so lucky as us. A daughter next door is a true blessing.

Re: What meat you having for Christmas?
We tend to eat nearly all veggy based these days but on Xmas will be having
Xmas Eve- home made sushi and ramen
Xmas Day- free range chicken which will be soaked overnight in buttermilk and roasted with garlic and lemon. Accompanied by usual veg (NO SPROUTS) and a roasted fish as well.
Loads of booze and tayto.

Epoisse is my favourite, it seems to move as you open the box lovely in bit crusty bread, with a full bodied red Stinks the fridge out.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 8:46 pm I treated myself to loads of cheese from a place called Pong. The
