Everyone has so far forgotten Terry "Henry" Mancini (a fine Irish surname) - the last Orient skipper to hold a Football League trophy aloft (not the NL one)

"Ooh" Terry Howard. Because he took over direct free-kick duties during yet another turgid time in Orient's long history and the crowd would collectively gasp "ooh" as he would hammer it goalwards and sometimes even score. I think before that we'd grown accustomed to nothing happening from direct free kicks...

Oh for an ooh these days!

Thumper Cornwall ,
He was No Bill Roffey & he didnt look like a disney Bunny Rabbit .

Whose name did you not get .

Any answers explanations will be welcomed .
“Lino” was in use long before Kevin Godfrey- I remember Harry Gregory having that moniker.
Another couple from the 60’s
“ The Mule” - Colin Flatt
“ Elbows” - Bert Howe

Funny my memory of ooh Terry was him being the big chelsea signing, didnt have a very good start to his O's career & after a very tame free -kick trickled past the post & wide,Some Wag on the North Terrace shouted
Ooooooh terry howard , which was heard & printed by those in charge at leyton orientear towers & so the legend began .
Transformation from oooooooooh terry howard to
Ooh Terry Howard as he started to get better.

Jabo: a “djuh” sound, followed by a series of random alternating vowels and consonants, according to most stadium announcers.
