Anyone pay for the stream today ? (£10)
Anyone else here pay for the stream?
Google Pay tells me that my £10 paid by Amex seems to have gone to "Indian Essences" in Orpington - which is an Atul Kochar restaurant, apparently.
Seems odd ? Stream worked fine except for the sound issues in the first half.

Re: Anyone pay for the stream today ? (£10)
I couldn’t find the page, after logging onto my account , where I needed to enter my ‘code’ , so I had to pay £10 to watch the game. They don’t make it easy in my opinion.
In previous weeks I have paid for the stream and accessed it without any problem.
I usually watch on my IPad........Please can anybody help ??

It’s decent enough for something thrown together. Not convinced it’s worth a tenner but I know the club aren’t responsible for that.
The frame rate and definition seems really low at points, one camera angle which was shaky today and a reliance on the bbc for the audio feed.
I’ll watch still but will probably pick a couple of games a month rather than every week

You have to access the account from the email saying activate your code, apparently.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 8:09 pm I couldn’t find the page, after logging onto my account , where I needed to enter my ‘code’ , so I had to pay £10 to watch the game. They don’t make it easy in my opinion.

Re: Anyone pay for the stream today ? (£10)
As others helped me, let me try and help you. Use a laptop (for example) as smart TV does not allow you to do this.
1 login to your leyton orient account.
2 find your email from the club with the code in it.
3 click the button with the hidden code, copy it
4 click the link to activate it
5 scroll down past all the offers and enter the code in the redeem code box
You will now be able to watch the stream. I had to press play twice and the game then started. As Spike said to me the code is locked to your account and not to the device. I was then able to go back to my TV and login and watch the stream through my TV. I then turned off my.laptop.
Hope this helps for future reference. We only need to do this once as I understand it.

Bit crap that they can't just apply it to accounts automatically like they do with the audio only subscription. I only have to log in and go to the "Listen live" link.

The thing I did wrong was not clicking on the link on the clubs Email which would have taken me to the page where you enter the code.
I reckon that quite a few of our older and less ‘tech savvy’ fans would have struggled today.
Hopefully some of us might be able to watch games in person soon.

No worries, I was struggling as I couldn’t get it to work on my tv, switched to the laptop and bingo. Now it works on my tv so alls good, but it was proper annoying I can tell you. I would suggest it’s not user friendly and maybe a bullet point list of actions on the clubs website would suffice and help people cos it’s not like you can ring up and say help I’ve a problem!

I got to see the 2nd half for free because the audio version didn't work. Thanks Orient for allowing that. I hope you get compo from the providers and are able to either give half back to todays punters who paid for the video stream or offer them half price next time.

So that's why when I logged in I had the video as well as (patchy) audio.WickfordO wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 10:25 pm I got to see the 2nd half for free because the audio version didn't work. Didn't watch yesterday but I had live stream for both the Forest Green and Oldham games. Didn't need a code (is that not just season ticket holders?), just logged into my Orient account, follow the links to the game and got straight in. Haven't looked to see where the money has gone though.....
