Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
I would think if you got through the ballot to see the first game where fans are allowed in, you would not go in the second ballot. and it would continue like that. If the limit is a 1000, chances are you would see 1 game in 3.

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
If they are going ahead with this, there needs to be a secondary ballot for non season ticket holders as well. I'm not suggesting the same numbers, of course, but if only 1,000 are going in then maybe 20-25%, so 200 - 250, should be available for the pay on the day fans to have a chance of attending.
It will also help bring in much needed cash to the club's coffers too.

Legally the club cannot deny existing ticket holders admission and sell tickets to non ticket holders.
Think someone is fearing they made the wrong choice by not buying a season ticket

So long as the club don't sell a season ticket holders seat, there is no legal issue here.
I can understand some ST holders might be upset by this but they need to look at the bigger picture and get behind the club - this way brings in additional cash which we desperately need right now.

Corporate seats in boardroom could be made available for non-season ticket holders. 12 Guests from £750 + VAT per matchRedO wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 9:36 am If they are going ahead with this, there needs to be a secondary ballot for non season ticket holders as well. Or 4 in the dugout in the corner. Away from all the other fans. Though not sure fans should be that close to the players.

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
Probably got a half decent chance of just getting a job as a coach compared to getting a ticket.

You chose not to buy a season ticket. You are behind everyone of them in the queue for admission.
Oh and I am correct on the legal position whether you like it or not.
Should have bought a season ticket if you wanted to go to watch games

Wow, this is a battle of political ideologies. On the one hand, everyone can be miserable, and on the other a few can be happy (albeit looked upon with envy by those less fortunate).

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
This just about sums you up.
So as long as you are rich and have money to burn - £300/£400 on a season ticket to watch a couple of games - you're allowed in. But the poorer fans who can't afford such sums in these trying times have to go whistle? Typical selfish tory attitude.

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
I'm honestly not sure if RedO is on a wind-up or not. There is zero chance of pay-on-the-day.
I would be more concerned if there is a random draw (according to the website) or not (according to Danny M). It isn't clear which one of these club messages is correct.

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
Why would you be concerned either way?
If 1000 fans are allowed in, then with >1000 season ticket holders, there needs to be some method of selection

Re: Thousand fans on Saturday?
How many season tickets holders are there this season? A thousand seems to be the number for the pilot, but might be up to 25% capacity from October, which is around 2,300. And with phantom kids and those who need to shield possibly no one need miss out...o-no wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 4:53 pm I'm honestly not sure if RedO is on a wind-up or not. A season ticket does exactly what it says on the tin.
