Re: Tony Abbott
Why is he disliked in Australia?
Also he's been described as a sexist homophobe in the press, he's not, he's just Australian

Quite happy by this appointment to be honst. Good to see the government going along with their conviction and not caving to Internet dickheads (like they have too often)

Re: Tony Abbott
Not really a reportable comment. Spent loads of time in Australia and I don’t really find them homophobic or sexist in the main but can understand why some people may wrongly see them that way.Real Al wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:52 pmCastlemaine XXXXist - reported.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 2:50 pm Why is he disliked in Australia?

They have a style of behaviour that can easily give a false impression. Underneath a brash exterior they are far from sexist and homophobic, well those Ive had the pleasure to meet, in my opinion. Nice people.

Why would a government that cannot manage the virus very well then go and appoint that guy
He wanted to be top dog in the EEC government and he was not put forward by the Aus government
He back in the glory now - Britain is doomed with the Tory lot and I used to vote for them decades ago - then I realised what a nutcase thatcher was
Why do so many idiots go into politics - answer they could never get a reasonable job in the working world - a graveyard of dead thoughts
Abbot was the person that awarded prince Phillip a title and then they all threw him out
I was trying to find the clup when he was run out of town during the fires , I'll have to search a bit more.
It was nearly as good as the old dear
who told johnson to go away & he was a
"Bit f*cking late now "
a week & a half after the floods last year .
