Danny Webb
has he really gone to Romford, or is Tamplin coming down from another all-nighter?

Re: Danny Webb
IMO, Danny Webb is worth more than Romford . The way he was 'eased' out at Orient, wasnt very pleasant, and hes better than Embleton by a country mile.
After Justin passed, If we kept the appointment in house, i wanted Danny to be Head Coach, for no other reason than I believe him to be a better coach than Ross
Good luck to him

Well, all I can say is that the money must be really good, because this does not seem like a smart move to me.

Re: Danny Webb
Always take as I find, and Danny was always very good company and great fun when he was a guest on Orient Hour. A decent guy who I wish all the best to.
Obviously it's a challenging post with Glen Tamplin admitting publicly he is battling drug addiction, which leads to some unpredictable behaviour from him at times.
I am not privvy to what happened with regard Danny's departure, but it was a shame imo for it to end as it did. Both him and Ross are good guys, and I hope they both have a successful season.

Re: Danny Webb
To be fair to Danny, he must have been doing something right based on the amount of incredible young players he helped to produce whilst working under Andy Edwards.

Might be a good time to have him on Phoenix FMAndy Gilson wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 10:08 pm Always take as I find, and Danny was always very good company and great fun when he was a guest on Orient Hour. A decent guy who I wish all the best to.

Re: Danny Webb
Moonwalk, I would be happy to have Danny on to talk about his time with Orient and his new post at Romford.
But tbf I doubt he would want me to bring up his departure from Orient and neither would any other affected parties. Perhaps if we let the dust settle and Danny get himself settled into the post and then invite him in it might be best?

Re: Danny Webb
Yes, he has been very honest and open about it.
Imo he really isn't in a very good place atm and one can only hope for his sake he gets the necessary help before it all ends badly.

Re: Danny Webb
I think the key word might be UNDER?
FWIW they are probably both decent coaches and their different approaches to coaching probably worked well with Justin blending them. Both would have benefited from another 2-3 years under Justin, but that was not to be.
I like Danny (and I like Ross) and I wish him well. Can't help feeling that his honest opinions won't go down that well at Romford if they are not a raging success on the pitch. GL Danny - you might need it!!

I would love to know what really happened at Orient regarding Webby, and the real circumstances that led to his departure from the club

Re: Danny Webb
I believe Travis and Teague were under orders from the Israeli secret services, who are funding the club, to get rid of Webb.
