Cheddar deserves respect. It's just so versatile. But, if you offered these two kn a cheese board and could only pick one, cheddar's familiarity would be it's downfall. I believe in that site right thing to do would be to go for the stilton.

Yes. You would go for the Stilton on a special occasion. If you ate it 3 days running you would never want to see day four. Cheddar is so clearly the winner as the best cheese that I sense the board is just trying to be edgy.
