Very disappointed in the current standing. I love both these biccies, but a Maryland cookie IS just a cookie. Viennese Whirls are unique ! Sweet, crumbly beyond your wildest dreams, light as a feather. They are the most luxurious of all biscuits, and don't deserve to go out to a cookie (even a very nice one).

Gold Bars and Viscounts are unique but they didnt make it either.

They're a shortbread (as mentioned above) - i don't care what Mr Kipling does with his packaging, a shortbread is a biscuit.

You didn't get all barrack-room lawyerly like this with Teacakes, and they've got the word cake in the title !!
