Re: Dice Cricket Tournament - ITS GAME DAY!
A recap of that stunning second innings fightback that fell just short of victory
Huxley run out 38
Lucky7 run out 113
BigRon lbw bowled Adz 36
Digby Chicken Caesar caught Celtient bowled Howling Mad Murdoch 69
OhMyGawd lbw bowled StillSpike 51
Thor run out 6
Daggerham lbw bowled StillSpike 10
Cheshunt0 caught Constanza bowled Adz 4
ElliotNes not out 4
Dunners caught i8uButler bowled Tuffers1 8
Griffin1975 run out 6
Total 341
4 players run out - sloppy play I'd say, with a pair each for StillSpike and Adz
Thanks for spectating - this has taken hours and I need to slink off and do some work now
Stay safe
And from the Oval we are wrapping up our coverage now

In my career batting at 9 I lost count of the number of times I was not out 4. It’s surreal.
But we’ll done great entertainment

Outstanding work CF - thank you very much for an excellent thread.
Think I had a decent match - 6 wickets in total and a few runs, plus, of course, being on the winning side and giving it tight to those "Gentlemen"!
mon the playazzzzzz !

Brilliant mate, thank you. Genuinely miffed to have been duffed up by the professional "Players". Us Gentlemen must now retire to our respective private clubs to thrill each other with our tales of derring do and what could have been. No doubt the Players will be celebrating with pints of Heavy and their whippets, they'll struggle to get a fish supper and scraps given rhe current situation though. We wuz robbed.....

My Inclusion in this game has
Led to a life-time ban from
Virtual G.A.A Finals at
Páirc an Chrócaigh , for partaking in
" FOREIGN GAMES".
I have appealed this decision

When I hit that SIX off what was to be the penultimate ball I saw my name in lights. I'm blaming the dithering by Elliotnes (yes/no/yes) in the middle of the pitch for the run out. Nevertheless, the match will be remembered and replayed in the coming years.

A very enjoyable thread. At last I'm on a winning team and I can't tell you how good that feels.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 2:43 pm This thread is dedicated to MB Gold, who carries the weight of entertaining the troops here on a regular basis. Cheers

Oh thanks, I was taught how to run between the wickets by none other than Geoffrey Boycott so nothing wrong in my approachGriffin1975 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 3:01 pm When I hit that SIX off what was to be the penultimate ball I saw my name in lights.
