Re: Grimsby (a) Match / Exiles Thread
Good to see such a spread of scorers too. Most pleased by the cleansheets though. Was a big fan of Brill & Coulson but had been starting to lose the faith this season after we were conceding so many goals. Redeemed in the eyes of this fickle fan - sorry for the doubt guys!

Re: Wombledon Exiles Thread.
Has Sotiriou been loaned out? Surprised he wasn't at least on the bench tonight. RE still sticking with Alabi... there must be a youth team player more deserving of the shot surely?

Re: Northampton stewards
Not sure what the issue with the folk standing up was all about at the start but the second one happened right in front of me. Re: Exeter Whingers v The Mighty O's Brief Highlights
Brill's conceded a couple of soft ones this season, sure, but he's made a lot of great saves too. Issue is opposition are getting too many opportunities to test him. The defence seem really leaky as a unit this season. Hoping that tightens up but just not sure what the best 2 out of 3 is, they all s...

Re: Could that game have gone any better?
Guess our defenders are still shaking off national league habits, got to get used to refs blowing up sooner and not letting players get away with as much as they've been used to the last two years. Though in fairness in any league if you haul on a striker in the box they're going to throw themselves...

Re: Our crap friendlies
Didn't we just play Hull (championship) and now have Norwich (premier) coming up? Perhaps not exactly glamour names but certainly higher league opposition.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 3:23 pm Why do we play against such crap opposition? Is it better training to play against lower teams? I would appreciate a glamour tie or two.
