Re: Vennells

I used to work for BT from 1979 which was then still part of the Post Office. Because of the Royal Charter and the fact that the Royal Mail is protected, they had their own internal police unit, the Investigation Bureau. They had proper legal powers, they were usually ex-Police and could be very in...

Re: Jack Simpson

Did they? They went down and the club nearly went under. It was said somewhere probably a podcast that one of the reasons Kent got onboard with the project was seeing the passion of the fans at that protest so yes it did make a mark and started the recovery from the days of :clown Of course. The Man City story seems to have the moral of "if you're going to cheat so it so spectacularly that proving guilt will take forever" The PSR rule beaches alone should've been heard this season same as Everton and Nottingham Forest but we all know City are dragging it out long enough to get...

That's a strange quote given we're hardly big spenders in context of our league budget and rarely pay transfer fees. What's the benchmark against for an appropriate level of spend?

Re: VAR could be scrapped.

It was clubs like Wolves who called out for ‘technology’ to help Referees in the past, and now that we have it, they don’t like it. I also don’t like it either and am glad we don’t have it in League One, but these PL clubs should remember that Referees made mistakes before and will do again. I woul...

Would expect the club will give him a year to prove fitness though doubt we'll see much if any pitch time given the severity of injury. Will need another winger in to cover his spot while he recovers too

Re: VAR could be scrapped.

Wolves have put out a very diplomatically written and accurate statement about why they want it scrapped and I agree with them. VAR is sucking the soul out the game and has deviated so far from its original mission statement of correcting "clear and obvious errors" it needs to be removed. ...
