Re: The Frank Nouble award 2023/24

There's only one winner here, the last minute panic signing that never seemed to fit. The only saving grace is that he narrowly avoids joining the Scowcroft list of 0 goal strikers with a couple of well taken pens plus his one highlight moment that goal on the spin in the box. Scowcroft is actually...

Re: Exiles Thread.

Ebou Adams showing us again what we're missing. If Derby for any reason don't go for him in summer and we don't get El Miz break the bank to bring him back I’m a big Adams fan but he was very average today. Pratley and Brown competed with him adequately. El Miz is so much better technically. Given ...

We won’t struggle next season, we’ll be a mid table team.
Very much depends on the midfield and striker signings. Take away El Miz and it's a very different prospect.

No way will Richie let us roll over. Pratley back in midfield, Agyei to possibly start, we’ll be ok.
Brutal realism in the pre-match predictions, nowhere near it today

He's been fine until recently . What has happened to him ?
He's been bang average all season at best, just not a very good keeper. There's an interesting thread on the other board that shows it with his stats

Re: Exiles Thread.

I see McCauley Bonne scored against Charlton . Before we signed Pigott people were calling ( including myself ) for us to re-sign Bonne . Would he really had been as bad as Pigott . It's a shame Bonne was so greedy on wages the first time he became available before ending up at Gillingham. I reckon...

Re: Exiles Thread.

And no point brining on Pigott . He’s not on the bench Really ? OK . I'd be surprised if he's injured because he hasn't played much lately . If he can't get into the squad when we're down to the bare bones then things are not looking good for him at Orient If he's managed to injure himself doing ab...

Re: Exiles Thread.

Interesting to see us not having a lot of the ball. It’s what you come to expect but Derby are head and shoulders above us we are miles away. We’re not really set up to constantly defend On today's showing we are miles off it but we're not at full strength and playing players who are not fully fit ...

Re: Exiles Thread.

Pratts working his socks off, but the rest of the midfield is non existent I said in a chat earlier on good luck Prats, he'll need it today with the midfield he's got around him We have nobody up front who can hold the ball up. It just keeps coming back. And no point brining on Pigott . Not even in...

On current form is Brynn better than Howes ?
You gotta feel sorry for Howes, not even given a game in the dead rubber matches at end of the season when his counterpart is throwing in a goal a game regularly.

Re: Exiles Thread.

That guy who is playing up front for us the last couple of games, is it April fools ? I know he's only a kid, but he is so out of his depth that it's not funny. No way Piggot could be worse. Oh there is, Edwards can sprint at least Our old mate Ebou Adams is enjoying himself against us again. Anoth...

All this talk of moving on Pigott and freeing up his wages, even if we could find him another club (or not) we would have to pay off his contract either in part or in full. Still preferable to paying full wages for someone who is offering practically nothing. Pigott doesn't even make the bench toda...

Re: Ollie O’Neill

You're moving the goalposts every time you speak. At the start of the window Wellens clearly stated no new players in as the budget was used, Thompson & Drinan went out & Cooper & o'neill went fully on the wage bill. You clearly said " get Pigott out & we have 7k to play with&q...

Re: Agents fees 2023/24

Leyton Orient paid £102k, sixth lowest in the division, Highest were Reading and Fleetwood £379k and £376k - Stevenage were about the £165k mark. That figure 102k could read good or bad and raises a few questions as well as eyebrows. How does that compare to our previous years I wonder? There was o...

Re: Ollie O’Neill

No mention of two players combined? Context got lost in the thread of quotes earlier on, fair point. Pigott roughly £4k, Drinan roughly £3k was what I was getting at should get something decent if we can move the former on O'Neilll has already taken Drinans wage, so what are you going on about? a) ...

Re: Ollie O’Neill

You think Pigott is on £7k a week? No, in the region of £4k and Drinan £3k or thereabouts hence combine both for a nice chunk of cash to play with GSHAW, Pigott £7000 per week! What planet are you on? Read closely, Drinan's wages already freed up as he wasn't replaced added to Pigott's if we can mo...

I fear a bit of a hiding here, Derby need this and we're currently a mixture of experimentation, injuries and on the beach.
