This youth and kid narrative needs to stop bar O'Neal and Edwards, every player on that pitch has played at least one/two seasons of men's football, Beckles, Pratley, Moncur, James, Simpson are all very seasoned

I was just thinking we could be at full strength but if you have a dodgy keeper then we would still probably be losing .

Re: Exiles Thread.
Our old mate Ebou Adams is enjoying himself against us again. Another game it's a shame we didn't get to see him up against El Miz. Our other CMs just aren't anywhere near the same standard.

I know he's only a kid, but he is so out of his depth that it's not funny. No way Piggot could be worse.

Re: Exiles Thread.
Adams seems to always meet us when we're at our weakest . He's been lucky against us in that regard . He was always going to impress this afternoon without El-Miz up against him . Show's the importance to try and sign El-Miz permanently or on loan again next season . If we're not able to sign players of his calibre in the Summer then I think we're in for a really tough season next season .

Re: Exiles Thread.
Oh there is, Edwards can sprint at least
Some think Brown is up to that level but when we play the better class midfielders the gap in quality becomes apparentRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:38 pmAdams seems to always meet us when we're at our weakest . But you need 11 against 11 . It's a team game and we're not at full strength .essexfootball wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:25 pm This youth and kid narrative needs to stop bar O'Neal and Edwards, every player on that pitch has played at least one/two seasons of men's football, Beckles, Pratley, Moncur, James, Simpson are all very seasoned

And shoot . Even an 18 year old with no experience offers more than Pigott . Pigott has shot his bolt and needs to be moved on .

Re: Exiles Thread.
You gotta feel sorry for Howes, not even given a game in the dead rubber matches at end of the season when his counterpart is throwing in a goal a game regularly.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:23 pmOn current form is Brynn better than Howes ?essexfootball wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:21 pm Brynn needs dropping for his own sake I think, not a dig

I agree . Half decent versatile squad player but that's it .gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:39 pmOh there is, Edwards can sprint at least

Are we attacking at all? Sounds as though it's relentless onw way traffic from Derby.

Interesting to see us not having a lot of the ball. It’s what you come to expect but Derby are head and shoulders above us we are miles away. We’re not really set up to constantly defend

Re: Exiles Thread.
Apart from the two goals, Derby havent threatened our goal at all, however they look a class above us.
Pratts working his socks off, but the rest of the midfield is non existent
If we could pull a goal back early in the second half, its game on. They'll get right nervous then

Maybe because they know they needn’t get out of second gearComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 3:54 pm Apart from the two goals, Derby havent threatened our goal at all, however they look a class above us.
