Re: Club's new Covid policy

As outlined in a statement recently aren't worth the paper they're written on Firstly, fans should wear masks upon entry and in communal areas: Approximately 5% compliance today Secondly, All Orient staff will be masked up from ticketing to catering to stewards: About 40% compliance today Either th...

Re: Coronavirus

It's worrying that the dates keep getting pushed back. First it's they'll start vaccination in December and by spring we'll be normal, now we're hearing maybe summer. My guess is the vaccines will be nowhere near as good as they claim and the Governments will have spunked the money up the wall. I d...

Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: Sun Jul 25, 2021 4:29 pm Going back to the OP, I wasn’t aware fans needed Covid passes to attend games from 1 October. I hope this is extended to being double jabbed and is rolled out to the football league too.
I think we will be in lockdown then so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Not for the VAST majority.
That’s not much of a comfort if you’re in the minority.
Correct.
But how many people are dying because of late diagnosis of Cancer etc?

Covid-19 is the gift that keeps on giving. To date, boffins and witchdoctors have linked Covid-19 to vertigo, tinnitus, depression, stroke, dementia, hearing voices, stuttering, hiccups, memory loss, sore toe, piles, sight loss and psychosis. Add erectile dysfunction to the list. They think we’re a...

Re: Promotion

2 promotions in 5 years was the plan, wasn’t it. I know we wasted 2 years pissing about with embleton, so maybe that target has been reassessed? I would say promotion this season is a must. The Directors have change their plan and have bought in a experienced manager who will not be cheap. They wil...

Hope I’m wrong mind.
With the investment the owners have put in then promotion is a must.
The next two weeks are crucial. No way is the squad good enough now.
But we have a manager who knows this and I expect him to put it right.

Re: Maidenhead v Orient matchday thread

At the end of that video KJ says probably two out and two more in. Which leaves us with a squad too thin for a shot at the top. Disappointing, get a top manager in and then don't give him enough funds for a full squad after wasting so much on Embleton. I think the funds are there. Jackett wouldn’t ...

No, but you can compare hospital admissions with COVID.

Don’t think kenny will be happy with a lot of that. Second half we were second best. Still desperate for a ball playing centre midfield player. I don’t want to be too hard on hector but he had some shockers back end of last season and was really poor today. I am worried that it’s all a bit much for...
