Re: Sourcing support for your points…
I would never bother trying to verify anything nowadays so rely on my life experience, which is; Tory MP's, self serving horrible bastards, Labour MP's useless tossers. Lib Dems seem like nice enough people but a waste of a vote as will never win in my constituency. SNP some real dodgy characters am...

I told my mate that I had built a model of the Eiffel Tower.
"To scale"? he asked
"No", I replied " Just to look at"

Re: My mate....
I told my mate that I was in the pub and saw another bloke with his girlfriend. I said that I saw him put his arm around her three times. He said that he didn't believe me as no one had arms that long.

The idea that new music is equivalent to the discarded skip outside Tesco says quite a lot about you. I said skip outside of a restaurant, not Tesco. Please do keep the astute tips coming oh wise one. “It’s much cheaper to book a holiday to Spain in the middle of November than peak time in July or ...

Re: Election Poll
Many people in Scotland will be away, as the election will be held during school holidays here. I doubt Rishi was counting on many votes from here anyway. Still, can't imagine there being a general election held in August

The Mansour family are thought to be worth £1 Trillion, so could probably manage to meet any financial penalty, as well as a few quid towards the " investigators" expenses

Re: VAR could be scrapped.
As VAR was intended to rectify clear and obvious errors, I'd impose a 20 second rule. If VAR can't decide if someone is offside or not in that time, then it obviously isn't clear and obvious. It's the waiting around for 2 or 3 minutes while pictures are forensically analysed that is killing the game

It's rare that you ever hear a song on this show that you would wish to ever hear again. Last time for me was probably Puppet On A String. I was only 7 at the time of course

Seems to me that contestants simply try to out-weird each other nowadays and it's all become a bit boring.

A couple of beers is actually 3 or 4. A few beers is 5 to 8 and a good few beers is anything above 8

Well, they haven't fallen yet and I suspect that many Scots will continue to be too suspicious of Labour to consider voting for them again in large numbers

Wonder what it was that Cruyff witnessed? Eight years now since he "died". Would have thought the case would have come to court by now. Of course, with a cover up on this scale, we'll probably never hear about it. I imagine Cruyff will be living on a ranch in Wyoming or somewhere, trying t...

Celtic's Charlie Tully scored direct from a corner kick against Falkirk in 1953. The ref disallowed the goal saying that the ball hadn't been fully in the corner flag arc. He re-took the corner and scored again

Re: Tory Watch
I think they will have gained a lot of new voters with the latest revelations regarding William Wragg. That only 3 Tory MP's were apparently moved to send nudey pics of themselves to strangers, suggests that the party is getting it's house in order. Not only that, Wragg himself has "courageousl...
