Re: Constituency Watch
I've read about that walk. Sounds challenging. Why is the walk done through the night?

Re: Election Poll
Many people in Scotland will be away, as the election will be held during school holidays here. I doubt Rishi was counting on many votes from here anyway. Still, can't imagine there being a general election held in August

The Mansour family are thought to be worth £1 Trillion, so could probably manage to meet any financial penalty, as well as a few quid towards the " investigators" expenses

Re: VAR could be scrapped.
As VAR was intended to rectify clear and obvious errors, I'd impose a 20 second rule. If VAR can't decide if someone is offside or not in that time, then it obviously isn't clear and obvious. It's the waiting around for 2 or 3 minutes while pictures are forensically analysed that is killing the game

It's rare that you ever hear a song on this show that you would wish to ever hear again. Last time for me was probably Puppet On A String. I was only 7 at the time of course

Re: Eurovision watch
Seems to me that contestants simply try to out-weird each other nowadays and it's all become a bit boring.

A couple of beers is actually 3 or 4. A few beers is 5 to 8 and a good few beers is anything above 8

Well, they haven't fallen yet and I suspect that many Scots will continue to be too suspicious of Labour to consider voting for them again in large numbers

What about maybe giving out free Jelly Babies on a Friday? Admittedly, they ain't as good as they used to be ( they are just a blob that doesn't even look like a baby and are covered in white gunk) but it still might raise morale a bit

Wonder what it was that Cruyff witnessed? Eight years now since he "died". Would have thought the case would have come to court by now. Of course, with a cover up on this scale, we'll probably never hear about it. I imagine Cruyff will be living on a ranch in Wyoming or somewhere, trying t...

Re: Scoring from a corner.
Celtic's Charlie Tully scored direct from a corner kick against Falkirk in 1953. The ref disallowed the goal saying that the ball hadn't been fully in the corner flag arc. He re-took the corner and scored again

Re: Tory Watch
I think they will have gained a lot of new voters with the latest revelations regarding William Wragg. That only 3 Tory MP's were apparently moved to send nudey pics of themselves to strangers, suggests that the party is getting it's house in order. Not only that, Wragg himself has "courageousl...

Vladimir Putin has told the Russian people that Ukraine is linked to the Crocus City Hall terror attack on Friday night that killed at least 133 people. In a video address lasting five-and-a-half minutes, the newly relected Russian president said Russian security forces believed they had apprehende...

I didn't know what a stadium kit was, so Googled it. Apparently it helps you stay cool. Would have thought the players would have preferred that version
