I take it that none of the crypto enthusiasts on here are affected by FTX?

My grandkids will be thankful of the day I loaded up my SIPP with MSTR shares.

Between this and my "emerging economies" portfolio, I'll surely be rolling in it before too long.

I haven’t traded since 2021 but with the gains we’ve seen the last few months it might be time to log in to my FTX account again

So apparently big banks are holding a lot of coin. What could possibly go wrong?

Is the current situation “FFS I knew I should have invested in Bitofacon” or “LOL glad I never invested in Bitofacon”?

Have trouble keeping up

Best description I can think of is "FFS, while I know better than to gamble wildly on an unregulated, high-risk, cryptographic digital code, if I had done I could seriously be quids in due to the stupidity of people."

Ok, really depress me: ten years ago I bought a guitar for £450. If I’d bought Bitofacon instead, what would it be worth now?

At the end of 2014 1 btc was about £200. So assume you bought 2, today they’d be worth about £104,000.
Hope it was a good guitar

The b string doesn’t go out of tune quite as often as it does on my other one, so there’s that.

Ah well.

I sort of feel like I’m exactly the sort of person who would serve as a good barometer of whether you’re in too late or an early adopter. If I’ve bought in, then it’s deffo too late.

It’s all a big pyramid scheme that’ll fall down eventually though, right? I mean, it’s not really a currency, it’s a gamble?

Of course its just for speculators. Who can you pay with Bitofacon, apart from criminals and grifters?
