The latest price of a Bit-coin.

Post by Sid Bishop »

Used to be a regular subject, well I just looked and one Bit-coin on 18th June 2022 is now £15,577, wow that is a big drop from November 9th 2021 when it was £49,939 ! Wonder what has happened to cause such a massive fall in value ?

Probably a good idea to discuss it now that death is almost upon the cryptos. Those holding now will get nothing like the value displayed by the traders. The bubble burst a while ago.

I just checked the price of Ethereum.
Peaked at £3548 on November 11th 2021, latest price just a few minutes ago is £783 with headline as follows....
''Dropping fast: -12.41% the previous close price of 894.49 GBP''

Even the renowned scientist Isaac Newton lost a packet in the so-called "South Sea bubble" of 1720 !

Seems odd that discussion of this topic is permitted now but worthy of a ban previously.

About time "Moderator can censor what he likes and ban people for no reason" was added to the message board rules pinned thread for clarity

When interest rates rise risk assets fall. Crypto is the greatest risk asset there is so it will fall the furthest. If you are that way inclined buy back in when the fed cuts rates.

Oh well, many so called ''Experts'' are still saying that long term the only way is UP for Bit-coin, we shall see and of course for anyone who is an enthusiastic Bit-coiner, surely now is the time to BUY, BUY, BUY !!

For every person who has shat themselves and sold off at £25k or £20k or even £15k if that’s where we’re now at, there is another person who has happily snapped their hand off at these prices.

If you genuinely have, that sounds like a really smart investment.
