I can’t be that, I’m seriously lacking in BERF credentials. So much so that most women I’ve fancied have observed that it’d be a great idea to give me a wide BERF

You know you can sell into GBP and withdraw within about 5 mins?

Which just reinforces his point that it's purely a speculative asset class, and of no practical use (aside for buying drugs online).

It's currently a (very good) store of value. (And yes, I know that wasn't the intended purpose - but maybe that will still come).

People should sink your money into less volatile tangible assets like property :ugeek:

Is the value of btc increasing, or is the value of global fiat currencies collapsing?

Fair point. It's certainly outperforming my Marcus account.

Is there any data on whether increased market activity is being driven by existing speculators or more new participants entering the market?

I do not have any data but from a quick look at r/Bitofacon, there are definitely a whole new swathe of investors getting involved.

Curious to know if anyone who's invested in cryptocurrencies can explain what they've bought?

Gold prices have also been increasing, which suggests investors have been looking to ditch fiat for other stores of value.

I think I've solved the mystery behind the recent BTC spike.

Both Egypt and Nigeria have just devalued their currencies in 2024, with other African countries expected to follow. It's capital flight.

I have asked this question to many people who claim to own Crypo Currencies but they have never been able to answer, maybe someone here can?

Say you own £2000 of crypto currencies and you want to buy something worth £500.00 from John Lewis with some of it. How long will it take to get the money out?

It depends on your crypto wallet. But, if you were to use a relatively simple retail app like Revolut, you can do an exchange pretty much instantly (just watch for the exchange fees).

Can the mods install a live price ticker on this site so everyone can watch this unfold in real time?
