Currently 0-1 down at Molineux and apparently we haven’t scored from open play for over 6 Hours
Fcuk knows what a good team would do to Southgate’s finest

What would you classify Germany and Italy as then?

Absolutely pitiful, like watching Man Utd defend

Southgate needs to get his waistcoat back or he'll be getting the Jackett treatment

The players who'd just done 40+ games and had to play 4 games with the home games in Wolverhampton before starting the earliest PL season with no break whilst their mates were on holiday didn't show up for a friendly game?

Glad they lost

Will stop FA giving Southgate a new contract, it is good news.

Teams in transition would be my assessment

Are we taking this league seriously? This is just a chance to play out fringe players. It’s a glorified friendly league, tonight was a poor performance but not the strongest line up we have.

Agreed it was a very poor lacklustre performance but not a reason to sack or ask Southgate leave.

One of the most damaging aspects of these results is its almost certain that England won't be seeded in the draw for the Euros in October. It will make qualification tricky.

I agree that was a ridiculous booking and sending off

It goes on past performances so I don't think this kickabout tournament will make any difference to that.

Exactly . I've just watched Gareth Southgate's interview and that's pretty much what he said . He was trying out our fringe players to see how they got on . The one thing he said that stood out for me was that we need to be at full strength . What does that say about the strength of our squad .

Not anymore I'm afraid. Just been discussing it on 5live. Top 10 teams on a points basis, with the Nations League being a fundamental part. England are currently 14th.

It's Nations League only actually

"The qualifying group stage draw will be held on 9 October 2022, 12:00 CEST,[6] at the Festhalle in Frankfurt.[2] Teams will be seeded based on the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League overall ranking. The four participants of the 2023 UEFA Nations League Finals will be drawn into groups of five teams so that they only have to play eight qualifying matches, leaving two free matchdays to play in Nations League Finals in June 2023"
