Left Footed Players

It is as natural for a left footed player to use his left foot as it is for a right footed player to use his right. Statistically 20% or 1 in 5 players are
naturally left footed.
What's the matter with commentators who go into raptures over lefties using such terms as "Lovely left foot", "Beautiful left foot", "Sweet left foot", "Cultured left foot".
The player is just left footed - get over it.

Left footed players have a style that's easier on the eye than a right footed player, they tend to be more stylish in their play.

Is that where the saying 'two left feet' originated from?

No that came about when Cream and Dis tried to play football in their youth, which was obviously a very long time ago. Anyway on the pitch they go and try their best and it’s clear to see that they are hopeless and at half time the manager says to them it’s pretty clear to me you don’t know what foot to use, it’s like you have two left feet as you constantly running around in circles.

So they became friends and set up as the founding members of the discream keyboard warriors club.

True story.

Totally agree 100%. Glad that fact is appreciated.

PS. Made getting picked easier too. I was the only left footer in my year at school. Handy, especially as Wasn’t that good.

If you had two left feet you would have had twice the chance of being chosen for your school.

I agree with all the nice things said about left footed footballers. I am also left footed, although I write with my right hand. I wonder what percentage of people have this 'cross dominance'.

I was born naturally left handed but my mother changed me to being right handed. Apparently you are not supposed to do that.

I can relate to this I’m left footed and left handed though the teachers at my school used to wrap my knuckles if I wrote with my left hand also in PE the evil sports master used to make me put a heavier boot on my weaker foot to strengthen it up

So now I can write with both hands and kick with both feet👍

My mother changed me very early in life, by the time I reached school age I was right handed. As a soccer player I could kick with both feet although my right foot was always the strongest.
