Do you mean two new players signed from outside the club for next season ? Excellent news if James and Sotiriou have already signed new contracts .

Given how Ling has done business these past 5 years, I simply can’t believe this.
Great news all round if true, especially James, but I just can’t see us being so well prepared.

The two players signed are easy to identify.
They will be the ones with long term career threatening injuries that nobody else is daft enough to sign. HTH.

If James and Ruel had signed new contracts then the club would have said so. I've got a feeling that Ruel's on his way to pastures new. I wouldn't blame him. He's been mismanaged by the club and we've not made the most of his potential.I hope I'm wrong. It would be great if Wellens could persuade him to stay.

Ruel was back in the squad yesterday, could be a sign. Hope we've not seen the last of him.

Ruel was also mis-managed by his advisors. Staying away from pre-season a couple of years back set him back a season IMO.

There’s no way the club would sit on such good news when trying to encourage ST holders to renew.

That would fit with Wellens stating he wants to bring in a younger striker to back up our existing forward players.
Bolton Wanderers want to sign Alex Mitchell from Millwall. Good move for him if it comes off.
