I actually dont mind the badge. I do worry the new kit will come out and it will have 56 different sponsors on though.

Yeah, as I've said before on here, we seem to have more sponsors/partners than squad members at the moment.

It's as eagy pointed out the other day, it's not supposed to have a border.

Formula 1 and Premier league have tons of sponsors and tons of money. Bowls has neither.
I know which way I want to see us going.

I'm glad we do, every bit of money helps so best to maximise all these potential revenue streams. Not sure where it's all going given our large losses on the accounts last year but we'll see if the balance sheet looks healthier next time around.
That said the NB merchandise looks really cheap and tacky so far. I did chuckle with the line about NB helping the club with the design of what is basically a plain red / plain black tracksuit with an iron on badge
Will be interesting to see how well this range sells. I thought last season's stuff was OK in style but the badge and text was cheap and wouldn't last. The new stuff really does remind me of something out of Romford market, certainly wouldn't pay club shop prices for it.

That reminds me of French footballers who seem to be covered in advertising .

Is having a sponsor on the training kit a first? Never seemed to remember that happening.
It's a minor thing but I dislike the badge (as stated already).
It seems a strange thing that visibility is a core reason behind it (despite virtually nobody complaining in recent years when a kit was launched, the main complains being it was a generic template).
But what about when the kit is black? Personally I loved our logo on the Nike (and some of the Avec) training gear, a classic look that unlike shirts never really go out of date.
Think the massive sponsor makes it look slightly pony. Imagine Bendon with the Rethink logo, just detracts from the overall look. Don't think anyone would prefer to wear the current black training shirt over one of these:
The training gear sponsorship is 'from £25k', but IMO sales of the stuff will simply decrease.

Agreed, I've never looked at the badge on a red shirt and thought "hmmm I can barely see it"
I do look at this one with the white background and think "nope, looks wrong"

The badge looks nasty, but we'll probably get used to it and not even notice in a few months time.

More interested in the squad than the kit or badge. The badge looks naff but I doubt it will affect results. Could as someone said, affect sales of kit.
