Scunthorpe Fans - Drum

A steward confiscated a drum from a group of Scunny fans before they were allowed into the ground.
He explained that neighbours have complained to LB Waltham Forest about the noise and drums are no longer permitted.
Soon we wont be allowed to cheer when Orient score !

Reminds me of the the recent thread as to whether Waltham Forest Council want the Club in the Borough anymore. I cannot find the thread but sure was on this topic.

Don't mind the reason, but delighted drums are banned.
They have no place in a football stadium

Agree. (the spen post) It's an incessant din that drowns out the natural atmosphere of the crowd. Glad they are banned from Brisbane road.

Let’s bring in drums and bang them as loud as we can outside the ground. F*ck the neighbours, f*ck LBWF and f*** West Ham bubble blowing two Bob melts.

Agreed - the Mansfield game was a total drum wind-up.
Would like the club to move the away fans to the South Stand next season or at least explore the option.

What would you class as natural atmosphere? The odd cough? Talking to the bloke next to you? Atmosphere at home games at times is dreadful

How dare you!!! How are the players supposed to hear the verbal abuse we throw at them if all they can here are drums, football chants and cheering?!!!
Making an atmosphere at this club or any other is totally out of order. We all come to Orient for the peace and quiet. FFS man just think about what all that noise could achieve!

How thick are some of those people? Don't like noise, don't move next to a football (use the term loosely at times) stadium.....DUH!
