The West Ham fans figured out What Hearn was all about from the start ...... " dishonest, crooked, deceitful ".....

Never liked Hearn from day 1. Always knew he was a sh*t
Always knew if he got involved in anything, he did it to make money, and didn't give a toss on what the outcome was for anyone else.
If I ever see him around, I will spit in his eye.
A despicable individual

I may read it if I can order from the Library or wait until it appears for 50p in Oxfam. The shortest chapter in the book is probably one about the charisma of his son.

Not exactly written in a taxing style is it? I’d be happy to burn a copy.

Saved the club, took us to our highest postion for a generation, fought bravely against West Ham moving in, gave me the most exciting season of my lifetime and came within a whisker of Championship football.
Hearn is a club legend

To be fair, if he was going to wait for a nice multi-millionaire, knowledgeable about football - he's have had a long wait.

I bet he never expected the pushback at his Orient gig to come from a bunch of Dimwitted mutants on this MB.

Very interesting comments. I might even borrow the book from the local library when it appears there to read the full story, but I won't be buying it.

Is it a rule that making good points here automatically results in ill-considered retorts?
