Ruel apparently could be on his way to Peterborough they had previously looked at him before and apparently are again.

Football wise, yeah - as things stand, it looks as if he'd be in the starting 11 out wide on the left, playing for an attacking, promotion chasing team. We need to get in quickly with a very good offer plus an option for him to be released if the right bid comes in. One more season in L2 at the top end would be good for both parties; if he moves too soon he might not get playing time at L1 or Championship clubs. Good problem for Ruel, and also shows we should be signing players to longer contracts...eg 3 or 4 years

Certainly helped him having a run of games but he is not championship material in a million years. A couple of months ago most were saying he will end up in non league. The answer probably somewhere between the two and he will probably have a decent enough career in league two.

Completely disagree. Ruel could play in League1 now. He's still a young man, and he will improve over the next couple of years. What's in our favour is Richie has given him a run of games . If Kenny was still our manager then I think Ruel would be off in the Summer. For whatever reason it was clear Kenny didn't rate him . Now Richie Wellens is our manger I think he would be better off staying with us for at least another season .
