How do you pronounce Smyth
Richie Wellens and Matt Porter say Smythe
Others say Smith
Which is the correct way. How does Paul Smyth pronounce is own surname?

What do you call him?

I call him little Smith

NB
Injured or magician are not options

It is Smith but with a y.
As you quite rightly put, to pronounce it the other way would require an e on the end.

Was Talking to a Belfast lady who works at Marco Piere Whites pizza place in Brentwood & she was from Belfast
Her name was Smyth Sm iff
Not Sm eye the .

She was originally from Twinbrook though
So an Ex Linfield player may pronounce it differently

No that is disrespectful.

Mods please ban this Boarder for excessive negativity against player and club.

He can't say that sort of stuff about a guy who scored that cracking goal the other week. Made my season that did.

I think he pronounces it as Smith. Personally though I call him Smythe to differentiate him from Harry Smith.
