I think 6049. Around 971 short in the away section but where were the missing fans in South & especially North stands. West pretty packed but a lot of no shows elsewhere

Loads of big gaps in the West from our view in the East. There are 2 season tickets next to us and they have been empty for all bar one game this seasonaylesburyos wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 11:29 pm I think 6049. Not a lot the club can do about tickets that have already been ‘sold’.Gary the Plumber wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 9:20 amThere were loads of gaps visible in all stands.aylesburyos wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 11:29 pm I think 6049. It’s great to get 6,000 in the ground, but ridiculous there’s the best part of 2,000,people with tickets who didn’t show.
Ok, so I was one. Fuel for the car to get to the game and back now around £50, train system alternative full of bus replacement services, M11 closed in part leading to an extra hour at least on a 5 to 6 hour journey.Gary the Plumber wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 9:20 amThere were loads of gaps visible in all stands.aylesburyos wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 11:29 pm I think 6049. Notts broke the NL attendance record doing footy for a fiver , 12,000 went, they tried the same yesterday with the nl east midlands derby .
Would cost a fortune to demolish and rebuild the East Stand in a ground we don't own it makes no sense at all.kokomO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 9:32 am Club need to think about replacing the east stand with a terrace stand , this should then increase the capacity to over 10,000 and largely take away the issue of season ticket no shows and not being able to re-sell tickets for ST no shows.
It’s not like we’re getting any where near the championship anytime soon (where there becomes an all seater requirement to stadiums)
wouldnt be much of a terrace either . if standing is wanted just redo the enclosures.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 12:04 pmWould cost a fortune to demolish and rebuild the East Stand in a ground we don't own it makes no sense at all.kokomO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 9:32 am Club need to think about replacing the east stand with a terrace stand , this should then increase the capacity to over 10,000 and largely take away the issue of season ticket no shows and not being able to re-sell tickets for ST no shows.

Eh? The club sold every £5 ticket they could, it was a sell out (apart from the away section)Petrov788 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:11 am so many empty seats, a pretty disappointing attendance considering tickets were a fiver. How much is football for a fiver actually advertised in the local area....I'm in a new block in Walthamstow, they could easily leaflet drop places like this. Must be 2,000 new residents in this quarter of St James, a 15 minute bus journey to the ground. Could they reach out to fans who would be willing to promote through various local channels. Just seems to be existing fans benefitting from it, which doesn't benefit the club.
I know people who didnt go because tjs was sold out & couldnt get a ticket where they normally sit with freinds so just didnt go at all .kokomO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 6:07 pmEh? The empty seats were season ticket holders who didn’t attend. Can’t knock the club for selling every single seat they were able to. It could’ve been 50p a ticket and they wouldn’t have been able to sell another ticket. The price of the ticket is irrelevant, ALL tickets were sold.
Tickets sold for game including season tickets 7,500
Actual people who attended 6,000
If that's true then a hell of a lot of season ticket holders didn't turn up, lots. There were tons of empty seats in every stand. Which is odd, for a home game in the sun, team in form, retro kit daykokomO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 6:07 pmEh? I wonder what that kid we had once before is doing, think his name was Kane or something like that.Give it to Jabo wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:27 am The club should be recognised for the PR work it does in local schools. What we want is a good cup run, of either competition, to generate wider interest. A good loanee from a local Premier Club would also help.
