It seems she is about to return to the UK. I assume this is because the UK Government have stumped up the £400 million that is alleged to be owed to Iran. If this is the case, why did it not happen previously?

Its not alledged
It was ordered in court that the money was
Owed .

It's a possibility. And, if she did, it's also entirely possible that her family knew nothing about it. But we'll never really know one way or the other, and casting any suspicion on her isn't going to do anyone any good. So I'm inclined to go with the official position that she is innocent.

I think the best take on this is that her daughter is going to be reunited with her mother after sevens years of forced separation. That is a good thing.

Yep, it's all grubby real-worldism, I'm afraid. But it's not just us. Most of Europe will have to snuggle up to a regime that still stones women to death and hangs gays, and another regime that chops a journalist up into little pieces and flushes him down the drain.

This lady does not seem to appreciate much, slagging off Governments past and present, having a go at her hard pressed husband for thanking the Government for her release, yet spent the weekend at a Government mansion resting. We wouldn't pay Iran 400,000,000 pounds we owed them, and Nazanin was left high and dry
Boris Johnson, when he was home secretary did her no favours, and only when the oil from Russia could be in short supply, does the government pay Iran the money it rightly owed them.
If I was Nazanin, i'd have shown my anger in a more forceful way than she did

No, of course not.

Then again , in her defence, her parents are still in Iran but she has not been graceful here. One would have thought she would be over the moon and thankful to be reunited with her child and long suffering husband.
