Richie mentioned that we will have a new no 2 once contract signed. Will be MH until then. Won't be Noel Hunt who he worked with at Swindon & Doncaster as he has just started a new job at Reading

Once No 2 is in we need to start replacing the coaches too. We need a full football side restructure.

I'd love it to be Ross. Only for the guy who sits near me in the South Stand to have a coronary at the next home game in a fit of rage.

Ross was an excellent number 2. Good coach, great passion and good with the players. It won’t be him but could do a lot worse.

Agreed, Ross was a proper number 2.

Not going to happen, thankfully, but would be classic Orient to re-appoint him just as his year-long payout from being sacked last time ran out.

Don't worry everyone, I'm sure Lingy will go through his little black book and fish out another
one of his mates for the no. 2 spot.

Tbh it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world Embleton as assistant did happen. No doubting he had passion for the club and based on the interviews he's done since it's pretty clear his skillset is well suited to being an assistant / coach. If Wellens is happy with the arrangement that's all that matters.

As above would be ironic if we've been paying him all this time to not work for us then rehired from one role to another at the same employer.
