That’s why Exeter was ready to let him go. Some goes for Nouble . League 2 squad players and it shows. I can’t remember a worse transfer window. It’s even worse than when we signed Gorman and Alabi. Our transfer committee has to take a long look hard at itself. If we’re not able to sign a manager’s first, second or even third choice I’d rather we didn’t sign anybody at all. About right. I thought Smith became bored of heading it. Hardly got a touch with his feet. Archibald - 5. Did literally nothing for 89 minutes then pops up with a worldie to earn himself a bonus mark. Clearly can’t/doesn’t want to play on the right.

Nouble is one of the most baffling signings I’ve ever seen. I think I read Brian Clough before a major European match let them train by just going out for a walk and not even worrying them about tactics - they knew their tactics
