Tis a shame that Macklin’s tenure ended with the club not on a high…

Danny did a lot of good work at Orient but let’s hope Mark Devlin can bring some new ideas.

“Devlin’s first role as Chief Executive came back in 2002 at League Two side Swindon ………….
for a year, before being recruited back to Swindon Town, for a further two years.”

Lingy strikes again! Fair play.

Maybe spoke to soon .. Huddersfield fan just posted on Facebook -

Absolutely clueless at huddersfield, we went from being solid to nearly bankrupt! thanks to Dean Hoyle coming back and Devlin getting the sack we're in a lot better position. Good luck with this clown.

Looks like the owners companies had £ issues. Nothing to do with CEO

Looks a solid appointment to me, great track record, 7 and a half years at Brentford is particularly impressive given their meteoric rise.

Just need to get rid of jackett, somehow stay up and get our dross squad playing, bid ling a fond farewell and start looking forward.

What I will say is credit to the club for bringing in a fellow Brentford fan as CEO in a bid to placate Lofft. That’s genius. 👏

Just curious but why did Huddersfield sack him then ?
