Re: DAYTON INJURY
Dislocated ankle according to JE. Out for rest of season, possibly into next. This will depend entirely on the severity of damage.
The ref could not tell the difference between a career ending tackle and something thrown in frustration by someone who may never play again.

Even one of those does not permit a player to commit an act of violent conduct

Re: DAYTON INJURY
Cant see him turning out for us again.
Had a good season last year but the injuries caught up with him and he has looked a shadow of himself this year. Seems like a good bloke but cant see us getting him back next year.

Yeah, cos throwing a shin pad is pretty darned lethal and well deserves a violent conduct moniker.spen666 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:08 amA career ending tackle?Still's Carenae wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:00 am Dislocated ankle according to JE. Re: DAYTON INJURY
Good point but I can't help wondering if it is within the definition contained in the Laws of the Game as applied to the NL. Are there any legal experts as opposed to know nothing blowhards who could provide an Opinion on this complex area of football governance.BoniO wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:49 amYeah, cos throwing a shin pad is pretty darned lethal and well deserves a violent conduct moniker.spen666 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:08 amA career ending tackle?Still's Carenae wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:00 am Dislocated ankle according to JE.
